The RES-Q Infant Wedge/Sling is designed to allow babies with Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD), Ear Infections, Upper Respiratory Congestion, and Sleep Disturbances to sleep comfortably in a semi-upright position.
The wedge is constructed at a 30° angle, which is standard reflux protocol. The RES-Q Infant Wedge is currently used in hospitals and is now available for private home use.The Wedge/Sling allows babies with reflux (sometimes also called "acid reflux") to achieve a restful sleep state - parents will also appreciate the benefits of a well rested infant!
The RES-Q Infant Wedge design is unique because it enhances proper musculoskeletal alignment and head molding while providing a nest-like haven, unlike other commercial wedges. The RES-Q Sling comes in 3 sizes and will accommodate babies weighing from 4 to 22+ pounds (1.8 to 10 kilos).
We will be pleased to offer fixed price quotations to facilities requiring a number of wedges and slings - the co-inventor pediatric O.T. will gladly advise on the quantities which might be appropriate for your particular establishment.
PLEASE NOTE; for infection control reasons, we have a NO RETURN policy for Res-Q Wedge products (both wedges and slings) - our standard return policy does not apply.
The RES-Q Infant Wedge is a medical device - obtain your physician’s approval and carefully read all of the instructions provided before placing your baby on the wedge. Your physician may advise variations in treatment based on individual circumstances.
