The SafeSEAL®is a soft diaphragm, not a stethoscope cover - use it instead of the hard diaphragm. Antimicrobial to suppress the growth of bacteria and mold.
Designed to improve acoustics. Conforms to the diameter of the chestpiece to create an airtight seal and provide excellent acoustic response. Soft, warm feel helps reduce patient discomfort associated with the "cold touch" of a stethoscope during exams. Advanced C-Flex material is a medical grade synthetic elastomer which is resistant to ripping or hardening over time.

Soft to the Touch, Hard on Health-Threatening Microbes
The SafeSEAL® Soft Stethoscope Diaphragm contains an antimicrobial compound to suppress the growth of bacteria and mold on the diaphragm. It is impregnated throughout the material, not just on the surface of the diaphragm. Standard precautions should be followed, including cleaning of the diaphragm between use.
A Variety of Colors and Packaging Options
SafeSEAL Diaphragms are available in a variety of colors to serve as a reminder to change the diaphragm weekly or to coordinate with the tubing color of your stethoscope. Also available in BLACK.
Stethoscope Conversion Program
An easy-to-use dispenser box contains four different color diaphragms to facilitate hospital-wide diaphragm replacement programs. A color-coded calendar on the box shows what color diaphragm should be used each week to maintain compliance. A downloadable Diaphragm Replacement Calendar is available.
Easy to Use
The flexible elastomeric material of the SafeSEAL diaphragm stretches over the stethoscope chestpiece. It was designed to fit larger stethoscope heads such as the PureTone™ Cardiology as well as all PureTone™ Traditional, Echo™, and Symphony™ Stethoscopes. Due to their stretchable nature, SafeSEALs can also accommodate stethoscope heads that are slightly smaller or larger, which comprise most of the commercially available stethoscopes on the market. Approximate diameter - Adult 1.85", Pediatric 1.5", Infant 1.25". To install a SafeSEAL Soft Diaphragm, first remove the anti-chill ring from your stethoscope. Then remove the existing hard diaphragm. Replace the anti-chill ring. Stretch the SafeSEAL Diaphragm over the anti-chill ring to make an air tight seal. Standard cleaning between use should be followed. Change the soft diaphragm weekly.
